Saving Cats & Kittens in Michigan has a mission: To stop the suffering of cats.
We do everything in our power to make this a reality, by bringing in cats and kittens that are found in dire circumstances and giving them not only food, love, and warmth in foster homes all over Southeast Michigan, but by spaying and neutering every cat we rescue and giving them veterinary care, vaccinations, medicine when needed, and microchips, so that they never need to suffer as a lost animal again.
You can help us in this effort in many ways!
We need fosters! Please consider housing a rescued cat or kitten, or a mom with a litter of kittens, for just a few weeks while we get them vet care, vaccinations, and spay/neutering while we find them good homes. We pay for all supplies, food, and vet care. All you need to provide is a room with a door to keep the rescues separated from your own pets until quarantine period is over, and provide lots of love! We apply fast acting flea treatment before they enter your home. Not one foster home has been infested with fleas with over 700 rescues since the rescue started! We need funds and supplies! Every little bit that is donated to the cats and kittens help us provide food, medicine, blankets, cleaning supplies, litter, de-wormer, microchips, toys, carriers, kitten miracle nipples, and Breeders Edge kitten milk powder for bottle babies that come into the rescue. We also accept new and slightly used blankets and we have a wish list on Amazon and Chewy where you can buy items for the rescue cats and kittens and have them sent to us directly.
