Adoption Fees:
$150 for cats (5 months and up)
$150 for kittens (under 5 months) + $25 spay/neuter deposit
These prices may differ depending on a cat's age and health history. Please view their bio for additional information.
Some older cats may have a reduced adoption fee.
If you would like to adopt any of our adorable kitties, please fill out the adoption application to the right (available digitally or as a PDF). You can view our adoptable cats below, or via our Facebook page, Adopt A Pet, or Petfinder.
For the safety and wellbeing of our cats and kittens, we have a policy in place that we only adopt to anyone over the age of 25 and under the age of 70. We will adopt senior kitties to senior individuals.

All of our cats are up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Cats will be spayed/neutered and kittens will have their spay/neuter surgery done at 4-5 months of age, paid for by Saving Cats & Kittens in Michigan, as long as we make the appointment at our vet clinics where we are afforded rescue discounts.
Kittens will have their first kitten "distemper" FVRCP vaccination at 2 months old, and one per month for the next two months, for 3 total FVRCP vaccinations. We pay for the first kitten FVRCP and then they can go home with you. You can then either take them to one of our discounted Vet clinics (Michigan Veterinary Total Health Care in Taylor or Tailwaggers in Livonia) to be vaccinated on our account (one FVRCP vaccine per month) or take them to any Veterinarian of your choice and pay for the following 2 FVRCP boosters.
The rabies vaccine is given at 4 pounds. When your kitten is between 4 and 5 months old, they will have a spay/neuter surgery scheduled at one of the Veterinarians that offer us a special rescue discount: St. Julian's Cat Care in Dearborn Heights, or Comfort's Place in Westland. They will get their rabies vaccine at the spay/neuter surgery appointment as well, both of which we will pay for. This is the most effective way that we have been able to arrange the vaccine schedule and we hope that this accommodates the needs of the new owners as well as the kittens.

*We do not routinely test for FIV/FeLV or vaccinate for FeLV, although some are tested at our discretion. You are welcome to test and vaccinate your kitten prior to adoption at your own expense. Please see the articles below on this topic for professional opinion(s), which vary by Veterinarian.*

At this time, fosters are allowing in home visits with cats and kittens prior to adoption, but we also offer virtual visits via FaceTime, Zoom, Google Meet, or through a Messenger Video call. Please contact us if you are interested in meeting a cat or kitten for adoption, and we will accommodate you. Some fosters prefer to bring the kitty to your home to meet you, others welcome you into their home. In all cases, the preliminary application must be filled out before any visits are scheduled, so it is always best to start by filling out the online preliminary application on our Adoptions page. This application is emailed directly to us when you submit the form, then we will contact you soon, after the application is processed.

My name is Mama Beans!
I am a very sweet and good mama taking care of my baby beans! I will probably be in rescue for some time because I have some medical needs that will need to be addressed once I finish taking care of my little ones. I am currently heartworm positive, and FIV/FeLV negative. Once my babies are weaned, I will get vaccinated, start my more intense heartworm treatments to support me while I fight them off, and eventually be spayed, microchipped, and ready to love you full time. I never stop purring and making biscuits!
